Deputy Director (Network Design & Computer Infrastructure) - Cyber Defence Group

You will be leading a section of six engineers/ technicians with experience in setting up of networks for cyber exercise. You will oversee, plan and lead the building of exercise networks, setting up of cyber defence toolsets for exercise, maintaining the computers (servers, end terminals), networking infrastructure (routers, switches), and testbeds/ prototypes.

What You Will Do

• Manage cyber range infrastructure for exercises and collaborate with stakeholders to create realistic network environments 
• Provide technical leadership for building virtual exercise networks using hypervisor and virtualisation solutions (e.g. ExSi, VMware) 
• Lead in architecting network alterations to achieve federation between cyber ranges

What You Will Bring

• Education in Computer Networking, Computer Science, or Cyber-related field 
• Related professional qualifications/ certifications is advantageous
• At least 10 years of working experience in IT and/or cyber environment 
• Prior experience in cyber fundamentals and/or work in a cyber-environment 
• Strong technical ability in IT systems, and ability to learn OT Networks architectures and protocols 
• Supervise and guide team in troubleshooting skills of networks
