Nous recherchons un Sales Executive pour un poste de terrain chargé du plan commercial pour la zone EMEA. Le responsable de compte régional devra posséder de solides connaissances techniques dans le domaine des applications de la biologie moléculaire, notamment l'assemblage de gènes, la génomique de l'ARNm et de l'expression protéique, ainsi que l'édition génomique. Il devra faire preuve d'une crédibilité technique lui permettant de conseiller efficacement les clients afin d'influencer les décisions clés en matière de choix technologiques et de produits. Un sens aigu des affaires est requis pour élaborer des plans de gestion de comptes et de territoire efficaces et traduire la stratégie territoriale en résultats commerciaux. Le candidat idéal aura une solide expérience des relations avec les principaux leaders d'opinion dans les domaines de la synthèse génétique, du développement des protéines et de l'ARNm, de l'édition génomique et d'autres technologies en développement. .

Responsabilités

  • Gérer directement le territoire qui lui est attribué
  • Faire preuve d'une expertise technique lui permettant de conseiller les clients sur les solutions technologiques
  • Faire preuve de compétences en gestion du tunnel de vente, avec de solides aptitudes en matière de prospection et de conclusion de ventes
  • Mener une planification rigoureuse du territoire, à acquérir une connaissance approfondie du marché et à établir des prévisions précises et opportunes
  • Élaborer et gérer un plan d'affaires visant à atteindre, voire dépasser, les objectifs commerciaux fixés pour le territoire
  • Comprendre les besoins scientifiques et commerciaux du client afin de remporter le contrat
  • Gérer de manière cohérente et précise le processus de vente, y compris les prévisions de ventes, la gestion du pipeline et le suivi des ventes, grâce à l'utilisation du système CRM et d'autres outils informatiques désignés
  • Développer et maintenir à jour ses connaissances des marchés de l'analyse génétique, des produits et des pratiques d'achat nécessaires pour être compétitif sur le territoire attribué
  • Mettre à profit sa connaissance des produits et des applications de l'ensemble du portefeuille d'analyse génétique pour mener à bien des présentations commerciales
  • Contribuer à l'identification et au recrutement de nouveaux commerciaux selon les besoins
  • S'assurer que les clients sont pleinement satisfaits
  • Représenter l'entreprise de manière professionnelle, éthique et morale en toutes circonstances

Exigences

  • Licence, master ou doctorat en biologie, biologie moléculaire, biochimie ou dans un domaine connexe ; ou connaissances et expérience équivalentes
  • >3 ans d'expérience commerciale dans les sciences de la vie, idéalement avec une expérience à la fois dans les équipements et les réactifs
  • Solide expérience et volonté de remporter des contrats et d'établir des relations clients à long terme
  • Capacité à voyager si nécessaire pour réussir dans ce poste sur le terrain

  • Lieu de travail : Il s'agit d'un poste en télétravail, basé en France, en Allemagne ou au Benelux, de préférence à proximité d'un aéroport international
  • Type de contrat : contrat de travail direct en France, ou contrat de travail indirect pour les autres lieux d'affectation

The Role

We are seeking a Sales executive for a field sales-based position responsible for the EMEA territory sales plan. The position will have strong technical knowledge of Molecular Biology applications, including gene assembly, mRNA and protein expression genomics and genome editing. They will demonstrate technical credibility to effectively consult with customers to influence key decisions on technology and product choices. Strong business acumen is required to build successful account and territory plans and translate territory strategy into business results. The ideal candidate will have a strong history of account relationships with key thought leaders in Gene Synthesis, Protein and mRNA development, Genome Editing and other developing technologies. .

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage assigned territory
  • Demonstrate technical credibility to consult with customers on technology solutions
  • Demonstrate funnel management skills with strong hunting/prospecting and closing skills
  • Rigorous territory planning, market knowledge, both accurate and timely forecasting
  • Develop and manages to a business plan to meet or exceed business goals for the territory
  • Understand scientific project needs and business needs of the customer to win the business
  • Consistently and accurately manage sales process including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking through the use of the CRM system and other designated IT tools
  • Develop and maintain current knowledge of genetic analysis markets, products, and buying practices required to effectively compete in the assigned territory
  • Utilize product and application knowledge across the genetic analysis portfolio to successfully conduct selling presentations
  • Assist in the identification and recruitment of new salespeople as required
  • Ensure that customers are fully satisfied
  • Represent the company professionally, ethically and morally at all times

Requirements

  • Bachelor/ Master/PhD’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience 
  • 3+ years sales experience in Life Science, ideally with both capital equipment and reagents experience 
  • Strong track record & desire to win business and establish long term customer relationships 
  • Ability to travel as needed to be successful in this field-based role

  • Job location:  This is a home-based role, located in either FranceGermany or BeNeLux, proximity to an international airport preferred
  • Contract type: direct employment in France, or indirect for other locations 
  • Requires up to 70% travel among DNA Script corporate offices and client sites throughout EMEA 
  • Start date: ASAP
