Are you a talented software engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology and biotechnology innovation? DNA Script is looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the development of our next-generation instrument control software and web applications.
Your Role & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software components for instrument control and the Console web application.

Design and implement user-friendly interfaces based on internal and external feedback.

Participate in software architecture discussions and code reviews to ensure high-quality development.

Assist the QA team with software testing on instruments and in simulation environments.

Support field service engineers with debugging and troubleshooting activities.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, designs, and test strategies.

Contribute to internal and external documentation to enhance knowledge sharing.

Participate in DevOps activities, including deployment and automation.

Manage individual project responsibilities, deadlines, and deliverables efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

3-6 years of relevant experience in software development.

Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming.

Experience developing test methods, simulations, and automation using modern technologies.

Solid understanding of software architecture & design principles.

Experience or strong interest in our technology stack: C++, TypeScript, React, and NestJS.
Desirable:

Experience in Biotechnology is a significant plus.

Experience in embedded systems or automation is a plus.

Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.

Knowledge of Python, MQTT, and Protocol Buffers.

Proficiency with modern source code management tools (Git preferred).

Interest or experience in mentoring interns, contractors, and new team members.
