Dialectic, a crypto-native organization of builders and capital advisors, is seeking a highly competent Head of Product for an on-chain DeFi protocol we are incubating.  This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with one of the top DeFi teams in the industry.

Makina introduces a novel framework for decentralized on-chain asset management, addressing a significant gap in the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. While DeFi has successfully replicated many traditional financial primitives, asset management remains underdeveloped, and sophisticated yielding strategies are not broadly available to users across the space. Based in part on Dalectic’s proven in-house yielding products, we propose a highly adaptable and secure architecture designed to facilitate a broad spectrum of strategies, including yield farming, long-short strategies, and systematic trading strategies that can be bundled or selected from a menu of options so that users can compose risk-adjusted strategies. The result will be liquid LP positions that act as interest-bearing assets and contribute to the composability of the DeFi ecosystem.

Job Summary:
The Head of Product role requires a strong skill set in Product Design and user-experience design in order to lead the product development process for a new in-house project. This position offers and exciting role as part of a small and dynamic team, with the ability to shape and impact the technical decisions and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for product design and user experience for a crypto-native application
• Ideation and creative problem-solving around DeFi products
• Decision-making on key product and design decisions
• Manage external partners

Key Requirements:

• 3 years of professional experience in a product-focused role
• 2 years of experience in the Web3/Ethereum/DeFi ecosystem
• Strong Managerial and organizational skills
• Experience with DeFi or Web3 user-facing products
• Startup experience and leading small technical teams
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and driven
• Strong work ethic and team player
• Willingness to travel and have schedule flexibility
