Mechanical Engineer

Dexory is transforming warehouse automation with robotics, AI and real-time data, and we’re now entering a rapid phase of iterative development. We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of experience in prototyping, R&D, or fast-paced product development environments to join our multidisciplinary team.

In this role, you'll take ownership of building, assembling and testing prototypes and pre-production systems. You’ll work directly with production, robotics, design, and quality teams to integrate new components, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and drive improvements from concept through to manufacturing handover.

What you'll be doing:

• Build and test mechanical and electro-mechanical prototypes

• Conduct hands-on failure analysis and implement improvements

• Enable long-term testing and real-world performance validation

• Integrate hardware such as motors, LiDAR, and cameras

• Support manufacturing teams with tooling, jigs, and assembly improvements

• Maintain clear documentation, root cause reports, and test procedures

What we're looking for:

• Strong hands-on prototyping and mechanical assembly experience

• Skilled in troubleshooting, failure analysis and root cause investigation

• Familiarity with technical drawings (BS8888) and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, DTI)

• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced product environment

• Experience with CAD

Bonus if you have:

• Experience with SolidWorks or Fusion360

• Created technical drawings or BOMs for manufacturing

This is a workshop-based, high-impact role where you’ll help bring our robotic systems to life, with direct influence on quality, reliability and scale.
