Role:
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Revenue Operations (RevOps) Manager to join our team and drive alignment across our marketing, sales, and customer success teams. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our revenue processes, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration, and using data-driven insights to enhance our go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate is both a systems thinker and a hands-on executor, passionate about driving efficiency and revenue growth. This role is hybrid and will require a minimum of 1 day per week onsite in our Wallingford facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment and Process Optimization
- Drive alignment across sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure a unified revenue strategy.
- Monitor and track pipeline data to identify opportunities for growth or risks of not achieving our goals, use the insights to feed into the Go to market strategy.
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine revenue processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the lead-to-revenue process.
- Ensure sales playbook is up to date and easily accessible, support on the development of sales enablement materials .
- Data and Analytics
- Oversee revenue performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights.
- Analyze trends across the revenue funnel to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Partner with leadership to forecast revenue and set KPIs.
- Technology and Systems Management
Manage and optimize revenue-related technology stacks, including CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing automation, and customer success tools. - Ensure data integrity and seamless integration across systems.
- Work closely with members of the commercial team to ensure weekly upkeep of all the records feeding into relevant systems that operate as a ‘single source of truth’.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new tools to support revenue goals.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Act as the central point of contact for all revenue operations initiatives.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure smooth handoffs and aligned objectives.
- Facilitate regular cross-departmental meetings to discuss revenue insights and progress.
- Enablement and Training
- Develop and deliver training materials to ensure team members effectively utilize revenue tools and processes.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to sales, marketing, and customer success teams on best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing automation tools, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and communicate insights clearly.
- Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and driving cross-functional initiatives.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
