What does this role involve?

As the DevOps Lead at Dexory, you will be instrumental in streamlining our development and operational processes, ensuring that our engineering teams can focus on building and enhancing our cutting-edge products. This role is essential to managing our internal platform for CI/CD and deployments, as well as supporting the engineering teams with their development tooling, data storage, hosting, and infrastructure needs. You will handle day-to-day operational requests, work closely with the SRE team to ensure a reliable infrastructure, and support IT and equipment requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with the commissioning and V&V team to facilitate a smooth deployment process.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the internal platform for CI/CD and deployment tooling for engineering teams.
  • Supporting the engineering teams with developer tooling and data storage needs.
  • Supporting the engineering teams with hosting and infrastructure needs.
  • Handling day-to-day operational requests, including account and access provisioning.
  • Working with the SRE team to ensure a reliable and dependable infrastructure.
  • Supporting IT and equipment requirements for engineering teams.
  • Collaborating with the commissioning and V&V team to facilitate the deployment process.

 

You should have:

  • Extensive experience in DevOps or a related field, with a focus on managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling.
  • Experience with hardware/IoT platforms or the ROS ecosystem would be beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of developer tooling, data storage solutions, and infrastructure management.
  • Proven experience in handling operational requests and provisioning accounts and access.
  • Excellent understanding of hosting environments and infrastructure needs for engineering teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to improving development processes and operational efficiency.
  • Experience with IT support and equipment management for engineering teams.
