Delphi is seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize robust data pipelines and solutions
using Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to
deliver high-performance, scalable, and secure data solutions that drive strategic decision-making. This is a
hands-on engineering role with opportunities to contribute to solution architecture, mentor junior team
members, and work on impactful data initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
What You’ll Do:
• Build Scalable Data Solutions: Design, develop, and deploy efficient data pipelines using Azure,
Databricks, and Fabric.
• ETL/ELT Development: Build and manage data transformation processes to support reporting,
analytics, and machine learning.
• Data Integration: Architect seamless data flow across systems, ensuring integrity, availability, and
accessibility.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business users to understand
requirements and build solutions.
• Optimize Data Workflows: Improve performance and scalability of data pipelines while keeping
cost-efficiency in mind.
• Cloud Platform Engineering: Leverage cloud-native tools for managing structured, semi-structured,
and unstructured datasets.
• Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior engineers and promote engineering best
practices.
• Client Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to define data strategies and translate them into
technical implementations.
What You’ll Bring:
• Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, working with large-scale data
solutions in cloud environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong in SQL, Python, Spark, and data pipeline orchestration tools.
• Cloud Expertise: Deep working knowledge of Azure (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse) and
Databricks.
• Data Architecture: Experience designing data lakes, warehouses, and analytical data models.
• Performance Tuning: Proven track record of optimizing data systems for speed, scalability, and
reliability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset; experience
mentoring or leading junior engineers is a plus.
