About the role

We are looking for a motivated Data Functional Intern to join our Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in data analysis, data warehousing, and Azure-based data platforms. You will work closely with senior consultants and technical teams to understand business requirements and support data-related activities. This is a hands-on learning role where you’ll gain exposure to real-world data projects, stakeholder interactions, and enterprise data solutions.

Job responsibilities

• Support data analysis, validation, reporting, and documentation activities while learning business processes and analytics tools.
• Understanding requirement gathering processes
• Familiarity with business KPIs and metrics.
• Basic understanding of business processes (Sales, Finance, Retail)
• Data interpretation and validation concepts.
• Basic SQL querying and data retrieval
• Data validation and reconciliation techniques
• Excel-based analysis and reporting
• Basic dashboard development in Power BI
• Understanding data structures and relational databases
• Introductory knowledge of data quality concepts. 

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Strong communication skills • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Microsoft Excel
• Power BI
• Create SQL Queries with CTEs
• Power Query
• Basic exposure to data platforms
• Understanding of Machine Learning concepts, Large Language Models.
• Perform dataset validation and reconciliation
• Prepare documentation and data dictionaries
• Assist in requirement gathering sessions
• Support UAT testing and report validation
• Monitor data quality issues
