About the role

We are looking for highly motivated and strategic-minded interns to join our Business Unit (BU) Strategy Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to key aspects of business strategy, operations, and transformation. Ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments and aspire to build a career in business consulting or strategy roles.

Job responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Collaborate in BU-level strategic planning, goal setting, and roadmap development.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and support their execution.
• Conduct research, problem-solving, and data analysis to support decision-making on strategic projects.
• Track and analyse KPIs, identify gaps, and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Utilize advanced Excel for data analysis and automation (e.g., formulas or process automation) to streamline reporting, insights generation, and decision support.

Business Insights & Governance

• Support governance mechanisms across Delivery, Presales, QA, Design, and other functions.
• Ensure business operations are aligned with profitability, resource planning, billability, and scalability goals.
• Perform competitor, market, and internal performance analysis to generate insights. 

Change Management & Transformation

• Assist in executing BU-wide transformation initiatives and change management efforts.
• Support process improvement programs and adoption of new operational models. 

AI Advocacy

• Stay up to date with AI trends and tools; recommend AI adoption to improve business and project efficiencies.
• Assist in the planning and execution of AI-driven solutions in delivery and practice functions. 

Chief of Staff Functions

• Act as a trusted support to the Strategy Team leadership.
• Facilitate progress across strategic initiatives and inter-practice collaboration.
• Contribute to executive communications, reporting, and preparation of strategic presentations. 

Job requirements

• Education: BE+ MBA from a reputed institution (current students or recent graduates).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong presentation abilities.
• Exposure to project/program management, pre-sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in ambiguity.
• Familiarity with OKRs, KPIs, and strategic models (e.g., Balanced Scorecard, 7S Framework).
• Tech-savvy with an interest in digital transformation and AI trends.
• Working knowledge of AI tools and productivity platforms (e.g., generative AI tools) to enhance problem-solving and operational efficiency.
• Prior experience working with executive leadership or CXOs (internships/projects) is advantageous.
