The SharePoint Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SharePoint solutions to enhance collaboration, productivity, and business efficiency. Acting as a SharePoint Architect, this role ensures robust and scalable implementations using SPFx, TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS while integrating Graph and REST APIs for seamless data connectivity.

This role drives innovation by leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, and PnP PowerShell to automate workflows and improve user experience. Additionally, expertise in Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and App Services enables cloud-based automation and integration. By leading SharePoint initiatives, this position plays a key role in enhancing digital transformation, streamlining operations, and aligning technology with business goals.

 

What You’ll Do

Experience & Expertise

• 12–15 years of experience in SharePoint development, architecture, and administration, with a focus on SharePoint Online.

Collaboration & Solution Design

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into innovative SharePoint solutions.
• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-level SharePoint Online solutions, including site collections, custom applications, and governance policies.

Technical Skills & Frameworks

• Proficiency in modern SharePoint frameworks (SPFx), JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and related technologies.
• Deep understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, site collection design, and governance best practices.
• Extensive experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and App Services for creating scalable and integrated solutions.
• Architect and implement Azure Functions to deliver scalable serverless backend logic integrated with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Expertise in Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) for low-code/no-code solutions within SharePoint.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, and custom integrations with third-party systems.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint Online and Azure administration.

Migration & Security

• Hands-on experience with SharePoint migration projects using industry-standard tools.
• In-depth knowledge of security and compliance standards, including Azure AD, role-based access control, and conditional access policies.

Leadership & Problem-Solving

• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects and teams.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of SharePoint solutions for large-scale deployments.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to best practices in SharePoint and Azure development.

Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in SharePoint and Azure environments, ensuring uptime and reliability.

Communication & Documentation

• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and technical documentation.

 

What You’ll Bring

• A master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a SharePoint Architect in the IT consulting industry, working with enterprise-level clients.
• Ability to align SharePoint solutions with business goals, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Experience working with IT teams, developers, and business stakeholders to drive digital transformation.
• A strong passion for staying updated with emerging SharePoint and Microsoft 365 technologies.
