About the role

As a Presales Consultant for Data and Digital Solutions at Delphi, you will champion client engagements, crafting tailored solutions that leverage Microsoft Azure and Databricks platforms. With a knack for aligning business needs with technical capabilities, you’ll create compelling proposals and presentations while fostering trusted relationships with enterprise clients. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and strategic vision to drive impactful client engagements and business growth.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead Presales Engagements: Drive presales initiatives for Data and Digital transformation solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and Databricks platforms.
  • Develop Winning Proposals: Craft high-impact proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations that align with business needs and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate on Solution Design: Partner with delivery and solution teams to ensure proposed solutions are both innovative and executable.
  • Solve Client Challenges: Act as a strategic advisor by understanding client pain points and proactively recommending tailored solutions.
  • Manage Client Relationships: Build trusted, long-term relationships with enterprise clients, serving as a key point of contact throughout the presale’s lifecycle.
  • Ensure Seamless Handover: Work closely with delivery teams to transition solutions from presales to execution, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and quality standards.

 

Job requirements

  • Proven Expertise: 7+ years’ experience in presales, with at least 4+ years dedicated to leading presales efforts for Data and Digital solutions
  • Solution Selling: Proven ability to sell both Data and Digital
  • Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and other enterprise- grade
  • Presales & Delivery Leadership: Strong understanding of presales processes, including solution design, proposal development, and alignment with delivery capabilities.
  • Delivery Experience: Proven experience in managing or overseeing solution delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations and business outcomes
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to present and communicate complex ideas to stakeholders across technical and business domains.
  • Metrics Management: Experience in managing business metrics and achieving sales
