Senior Manual QA Specialist

Your Role:

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape QA processes and directly influence the quality of an innovative sports tech product in a fast-growing environment. You’ll take on diverse responsibilities - from beta testing coordination and exploratory/E2E testing to compliance and automation support. You’ll work closely with leadership (QA Director) as a trusted partner, gaining exposure to cutting-edge solutions across both Backend and Frontend components.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Design, Execute, and Document Test Cases: Create comprehensive test scenarios for web, mobile, and backend platforms to ensure stable, high-quality releases across complex gaming environments. 
  • Cross-Platform & Compatibility Testing: Perform thorough testing on multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems using tools like BrowserStack and real devices to guarantee seamless player experiences. 
  • Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects in Jira, collaborating closely with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution and prevent production issues. 
  • Regression & Release Assurance: Execute regression, smoke, and sanity tests to safeguard release stability, especially for high-traffic gaming features and integrations. 
  • Deployment & Post-Release Validation: Support production deployments with go-live checks and post-release monitoring to quickly detect and address any critical issues. 
  • Maintain QA Assets: Ensure clear and up-to-date test documentation, environments, and test data for efficient execution and audit readiness. 
  • Quality Advocacy & Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements in QA processes, tools, and automation opportunities, promoting quality as a shared responsibility across teams. 
  • Cross-Team E2E Testing Leadership: Lead end-to-end testing efforts for complex, multi-team initiatives (e.g., new themes, feature migrations, integrations) to ensure smooth delivery and compliance with gaming regulations. 
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of quality within the team. 

Employees may be required to participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring availability outside regular working hours to respond to urgent issues as needed as per the On call policy.

Who you are:

  • Extensive QA Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on manual QA experience across web and mobile platforms, preferably within complex, high-traffic environments such as iGaming.
  • Cross-Platform Testing Expertise: Strong experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing, utilizing tools like BrowserStack and real devices to ensure a seamless and consistent player experience.
  • Advanced QA Methodology Knowledge: Deep understanding of structured test design techniques, including test cases, checklists, edge case validation, and risk-based testing strategies to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Clear Communication & Reporting: Proven ability to deliver precise, well-structured, and actionable bug reports while collaborating effectively with developers, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Agile Delivery Experience: Demonstrated experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks, actively contributing to sprint planning, reviews, refinements, and retrospectives.
  • Ownership & Quality-First Mindset: Takes full ownership of deliverables, proactively identifying risks and driving quality improvements throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Technical Awareness: Solid understanding of automation principles, CI/CD pipelines, and system integration points, enabling efficient collaboration with engineering and DevOps teams.
  • Domain Expertise Advantage: Familiarity with iGaming-specific complexities, including regulatory compliance requirements, real-time data validation, and multi-market localization, is considered a strong asset.
