Your Team:
The Sports Team at Delasport is at the heart of our cutting-edge gaming platform, where passion for sports meets the power of technology. As part of our dynamic Engineering Division, this team focuses on delivering world-class sports betting solutions with performance, scalability, and reliability at the forefront. Our goal is to provide sports enthusiasts with an unparalleled betting experience that is fast, secure, and engaging.
We work on high-performance, low-latency systems that handle millions of transactions, ensuring real-time updates for players.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Develop and extend new and existing business features across core products.
- Continuously improve and optimize system performance for scalability and efficiency.
- Tackle complex technical problems with critical thinking and creative solutions.
- Learn and adopt new technologies and tools to stay aligned with industry best practices.
- Build and maintain applications using Java, Kafka, and Kafka Streams.
- Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle — from requirements and coding to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Work as part of an Agile team following the Scrum methodology with two-week sprints.
- Design and develop complex, event-driven systems based on microservices architecture.
- Ensure high code quality by writing clean, readable, and well-tested code.
Who You Are:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Have 1+ years of professional experience in Java programming and its core libraries.
- Possess basic knowledge of the Spring Framework.
- Strong understanding of SQL, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and design patterns.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Pay close attention to detail and write clean, maintainable code.
- A strong team player with good communication and collaboration skills.
- Motivated to learn continuously and stay up to date with emerging technologies and practices.
- A portfolio of personal or open-source projects (e.g., on GitHub) is a strong advantage.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Kafka or other asynchronous messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, etc.).
- Understanding of event-driven design and microservices architecture.
