Product Marketer
Role Overview
Defuse Labs is building programmable, intent-based infrastructure on NEAR Protocol — making blockchain interactions smoother, smarter, and more composable.
Defuse Labs is looking for a strategic, execution-driven Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to build and scale our product marketing function across both inbound and outbound efforts. This is a foundational role shaping how Defuse’s protocols and products are positioned to developers, builders, partners, and power users.
You’ll define how we tell our story and drive awareness and adoption in the fast-evolving crypto landscape. From refining messaging frameworks to leading GTM strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product marketing lifecycle, including positioning, messaging, launch planning, and adoption strategy for Near Intents.
- Build structured marketing briefs and strategic frameworks that align with business objectives and product milestones.
- Act as the voice of the user by synthesizing user insights, market feedback, and ecosystem needs into actionable product and UX recommendations.
- Influence the product roadmap by deeply understanding developer workflows and partner integrations.
- Lead go-to-market planning for new features and ecosystem announcements. Define launch goals, craft narratives, and drive alignment across product, comms, design, growth, and partners.
- Coordinate pre-launch readiness and post-launch adoption tactics, with a strong focus on measurable outcomes (activation, engagement, retention).
- Facilitate alignment and transparency across stakeholders, acting as a strong program driver and communicator.
- Collaborate with partners to deliver co-marketing support, product messaging, and GTM guidance.
- Provide scalable toolkits and templates that enable ecosystem-led product marketing initiatives.
- Translate technical concepts into simple, clear, and differentiated messaging tailored to developers, investors, and broader Web3-curious audiences.
- Partner with content and brand teams to deliver high-quality assets—launch materials, decks, FAQs, one-pagers, blog posts, and more, co-own product-focused social media strategy driving narrative clarity, product education, and developer engagement across X, etc.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in product marketing, developer marketing, or technical content, ideally in crypto, developer platforms, or B2B SaaS
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills. Able to synthesize complex technical information into sharp, clear narratives for a variety of audiences.
- Highly organized and execution-oriented; able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of crypto primitives, developer needs, and the web3 landscape (e.g., L1/L2 chains, intents, wallets, MEV, composability)
- Familiarity with crypto-native social platforms and audiences; comfortable contributing to or guiding public narrative via X, etc.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to connect user needs, product capabilities, and market trends to inform positioning and GTM plans.
- Experience working in remote, globally distributed teams and navigating ambiguity with clarity and momentum.
