About the Position

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to own the go-to-market and distribution strategy for NEAR Intents. Your mission will be to drive adoption through partnerships with wallets, aggregators, dApps, and chains, and to educate the market on the power of intent-based infrastructure.

Your goal is to integrate NEAR Intents into user-facing applications, making our solutions accessible to end-users across the blockchain space.

You will be at the forefront of scaling our technology by building strong partnerships and enabling meaningful integrations.

 

Distribution & Integrations

• Develop and execute a distribution plan for Near Intents, identifying key verticals and partners.
• Offer Near Intents as an integration layer for wallets and dApps — especially those with significant user volume — enabling seamless, cross-chain UX.
• Pitch integration of intent routers directly into frontend interfaces (wallets, swaps, NFT apps), abstracting complexity for end-users.
• Work closely with wallet teams to help them adopt intents as the default action model for swaps, sends, and more.
• Pitch and onboard dApps that can integrate Near Intents for in-app swaps or cross-chain activity.
• Work with bridges and rollups to embed Near Intents as a routing or UX layer.

 

Ecosystem Expansion

• Build relationships with foundations, rollups, and L1/L2 ecosystems to ensure Near Intents is integrated into their dApp tooling, grants programs, and liquidity strategies.
• Collaborate with market makers and solver providers to expand supported routes, chains, and asset coverage.

 

Product-Market Feedback

• Capture integration feedback from partners to inform product development and roadmap.
• Develop co-marketing strategies, developer support plans, and integration incentives with ecosystem partners.
• Attend and represent Defuse Labs at crypto conferences, hackathons, and meetups.

 

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in Business Development or Partnerships in Web3, DeFi, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of wallets, DeFi infrastructure, L1/L2 ecosystems, and cross-chain mechanics.
• A network across crypto wallets, foundations, and infrastructure partners.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Fluent in English.

 

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of AI applications in blockchain or Web3 contexts.
• Familiarity with multi-chain ecosystems and bridging solutions.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on identifying growth opportunities.
