Operations Support Co-ordinator

Bristol

We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Support Coordinator to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day rhythm of our fast-paced, innovative additive manufacturing facility. Based on-site at our Avonmouth (Bristol) facility, you will be the central link between our office and production floor, and you’ll be instrumental in keeping our operational engine running smoothly. This a varied role where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and have wide-scale involvement across the site.

  • Production & Workforce Coordination: Develop and maintain shift schedules in collaboration with Production Leads and HR, ensuring optimal production coverage and monitor/adjust manufacturing capacity planning, communicating updates swiftly to key stakeholders.
  • Operational & Process Efficiency: Coordinate job cards and work orders in line with production schedules and provide ongoing support to the production team in maintaining smooth and timely workflow across departments, ensuring operational alignment and efficiencies.
  • Front Office & Visitor Experience: Be the welcoming face of the business and serve as the first point of contact for visitors and handle incoming post, deliveries and ensure effective distribution.
  • Procurement & Supplier Liaison: Raise purchase orders and work closely with suppliers to manage order tracking and invoicing including office supplies and hospitality.
  • Administrative & Facilities Support: Maintain accurate systems and information and documentation and provide admin assistance for ad-hoc office and operational tasks as needed.

What you will need 

  • Previous experience working within a production/manufacturing environment within a production coordination and administrative capacity
  • Proficiency with shift management/workforce scheduling software (E.g RotaCloud)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and experience with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels
  • Sound experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel & Outlook); experience with ERP or scheduling software is advantageous
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

DEEP Manufacturing, based in Avonmouth (Bristol) offers advanced manufacturing capabilities and expertise in large-format metal additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping and material testing. Our advanced manufacturing facilities include a state-of-the-art robotics suite, offering 3D printing services and Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) capabilities which means we can deliver manufacturing projects in less time and at lower costs compared to traditional manufacturing processes.
