THE CIRCULARITY DOMAIN IS HIRING AN AI ENGINEER INTERN

Decathlon aims to make circularity the new norm by making repair, rental, and second-hand services as intuitive as buying new. You will join the PLANT team (Planet Analytics/AI team), the intelligence engine of the domain. Our mission is to transform raw data into concrete actions through Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions. JOIN THE PLANT TEAM

You will join an agile team of Data and AI experts dedicated to building decision-support tools for the sustainable transition. You will specifically work on the strategic Circular PIM project to automate product data collection across the global market. As part of an internal project launch, we are recruiting a specialized AI Engineer intern, based in Lille (Campus) or Lyon.

YOUR MISSIONS

  • Design and deploy robust GenAI agents for web scraping product data (focusing on the cycling universe).
  • Develop reliable data pipelines to extract, clean, and structure unstructured information.
  • Architect the ingestion system to feed the Circular PIM (Product Information Management).
  • Ensure data quality by implementing automated testing and constant monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Pricing team to align data formats with circular pricing models.
  • Document and model database schemas to ensure project scalability.

YOUR TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

  • GenAI & LLM: LLM APIs, Prompt Engineering, Agent frameworks (e.g., ADK, Vertex AI).
  • Languages: Python (Expertise in data structures and classes).
  • Web Scraping (nice to have): BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Requests.
  • Data & Cloud: SQL, Data modeling concepts, Cloud environments, workflow orchestration.
  • Quality & DevOps: Pytest/Unittest, Git (daily tool).
