Your role

This role sits within the Identification team, and more precisely the Login Platform. The mission of this team is to provide our members authentication solutions with a high level of security. 

Login identifies our users in a unique and global way to allow them to enjoy sporting experiences and discover appropriate products and services, while being recognised throughout the Decathlon ecosystem. 

Your impact is split around 6 major axes :

1/ Technical and Security

  • Master OpenID Connect specifications and best practices as provider and consumer
  • Master technical aspects of authentication and Token Management
  • Have some experience in Risk Based Authentication (RBA) and security mechanisms
  • Have knowledge of OWASP and Security core principles

2/ Vision and Product Strategy

  • Define the vision, strategy, and positioning for a product that millions of users across various countries worldwide rely on.
  • Supervise the creation of value
  • Write an outcome-based product roadmap, share it to your stakeholders and teams within your ecosystem.

3/ Discovery

  • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify product opportunities and enhancement.
  • Define solid hypotheses based on quantitative and qualitative exploration.
  • Conduct an Experimentation program to continuously improve your key metrics and user satisfaction
  • Collaborate with designers (Product Designer and UX researcher) to guide their product design work and guarantee a Continuous Discovery pace.

4/ Delivery

  • Prioritize by value-potentiality and plan the work for the realization of the product (design, testing, product launch, and its evolutions for our users).
  • Ensure the quality of the product.
  • Track the outcomes of each feature you bring to production.
  • Communicate upcoming product developments, both externally and internally to the team

5/ Data

  • Collaborate with web and data-analysts to understand and optimize product usage.
  • Define and supervise the key success metrics of the product.

6/ Product Culture

  • Establish a collaborative working mode, a trustworthy and responsible environment within the team.
  • Be an active participant in the product ecosystem, develop and promote the product mindset around you.

Profile

  • Technical Product Manager with 5 years of experience working on digital platform back-end systems and APIs, particularly in an international setting. Experience in Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) would be a plus, with appetency for security aspects.
  • Demonstrable solid experience in Product Discovery, conducting effective product discovery processes that helps you to identify and validate customer needs and business opportunities.
  • A data-informed mindset to back up your assumptions, make decisions, and drive actions.
  • Significant experience in designing and conducting A/B tests to validate hypotheses about product features.
  • Ability to prioritize, let go, and say no in order to keep your product team focused on the essentials
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it to stakeholders at the executive level
  • Can easily collaborate with Tech, Data and Design people to improve your product.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity
  • Passionate about sports and eager to share your passions with the team!
