Compliance Specialist

We are currently looking for a Compliance Specialist. The team is responsible for ensuring the firm operates within regulatory frameworks while supporting the business to innovate responsibly. This is a broad and hands-on role that will expose you to all aspects of compliance in a high-performance trading environment, both in traditional finance and digital assets. The role is based in our Amsterdam office.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regulatory analysis in relevant financial markets regulations.
- Provide advice and effective guidance across the organization.
- Draft, review, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure internal frameworks remain effective and aligned with current regulatory requirements.
- Deliver training to staff on company policies, compliance obligations and best practices.
- Perform ongoing monitoring and reporting to identify, assess and mitigate compliance risks.
- Assist in managing regulatory requests, audits, inspections and internal reviews, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Requirements:
- A university degree in finance, economics, law or a related field.
- Market‑knowledge depth: Demonstrated understanding of traditional finance markets and/or digital‑asset markets. Please note that this does not include AML/KYC experience.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience (a role in compliance, legal or regulatory affairs is a plus).
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with an eye for detail.
- A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to take ownership.
- Comfortable working in a technology‑driven trading environment.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus but not required.
