
Account Executive
Datavations is a leading New York-based data and AI software specializing in the $2.3 trillion dollar building materials industry. Our platform, powered by advanced Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, provides manufacturers with a data driven approach to better service customers and grow their relationships with key accounts. By simplifying massive datasets into actionable business insight, we help businesses make data-driven decisions to optimize pricing, inventory, and product assortment.
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Executive to assume the ownership role for their accounts while driving the identification and qualification of new opportunities. This involves developing and executing account & opportunity plans leading to the closing of new business. You will facilitate and maintain successful relationships with prospects and customers in the home improvement manufacturing industry. Your success will be measured by your ability to close new logos, increase revenue in existing accounts, maintain high customer satisfaction, and turn clients into references for our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with an SDR to facilitate cold and warm outreach into named account list
- Work towards achieving and exceeding set sales targets and KPIs
- Forecast revenue and manage a pipeline of potential business
- Put together, attend and lead client meetings and QBRs
- Work cross functionally with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Innovation, Product, Eng) to structure deals that maximize revenue for all constituents and to ensure client satisfaction
- Develop and execute account & opportunity plans
- Facilitate and maintain successful relationships with customers and prospects
- Build champions and collaborative teams to support the implementation of expansion plans
- Attend industry events to evangelize Datavations and our technology
- Synthesize customer feedback and help inform the product roadmap
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of complex enterprise software sales experience
- Experience in a lead sales role within a team selling environment
- Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to the sales process, client concerns and needs
- Proven success in handling large accounts within a 6-12 months sales process, in a fast-paced, consultative, and competitive market
- Executive level relationship selling experiences, with the ability to sell high and wide across the organization
- Evidence of creating demand, business need, and compelling reasons that provide large-scale account expansion
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and processes (i.e. value selling, account planning, and accurate forecasting)
- Experience in engaging with and selling to C-Level customers
- Retail tech sales experience a plus
