What will I be doing:
As a security researcher you will be involved in the continuous development of our cyber security product suite and researching attacker tradecraft. You will be part of a dynamic team working closely the development team, with the overall aim of discovering and addressing specific areas of improvement.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Building and assessing detections within your product area,
- Feeding back to the development team and helping to determine directions of future research and product development,
- Undertaking other data analysis and scripting tasks to help improve the product in general,
- Assessing feedback from the analyst team about the performance of the product.
This is a hybrid role, and the expectation is to work a minimum of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.
What experience do I need:
The right individual will demonstrate strong communication skills with general knowledge of endpoint and network analysis. Additionally, you will be able to show:
- Strong experience with endpoint technologies through a managed SOC or Incident Response service
- Analytical and organisational skills
- Be a team player but with the ability to operate autonomously and take independent decisions
Desirable:
- Experience working as part of a Detection Engineering or Threat Research team
- Experience with Darktrace products
