Position Summary: This full-time 12-month FTC working within our Marketing department at our Cambridge office on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days in the office).

At Cycle Pharma, we’re looking for a Senior Copywriter to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be confident at turning complex ideas into clear, compelling communications that inspire healthcare providers and patients alike. As a creative leader in our marketing team, you’ll craft impactful content that drives our mission forward ensuring every word resonates, connects, and makes a difference.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Cycle Vita (Patient support hub) and Project Management. You’ll also work closely with external partners such as distributors, patient groups, healthcare professionals (HCPs), and creative agencies.

What you’ll be doing in this role:
- Create and refresh engaging marketing content for product launches and existing marketing material across neurology and oncology. This would also include websites, brochures, press releases, emails and digital adverts.
 - Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, brand-aligned, and compliant with industry regulations.
 - Manage marketing communications plans, delivering consistent messaging across channels.
 - Support product launches and cross-functional campaigns with innovative communication strategies.
 - Collaborate with teams and external partners to drive timely and high-quality project delivery.
 - Ensure all content meets accessibility and compliance requirements, resolving any issues proactively.
 - Support the review and approval of promotional materials, including FDA 2253 submissions.
 - Support and mentor junior colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity and best practice sharing.
 - Manage deadlines and prioritise workload independently and in line with business priorities.
 
The following skills and experience will be important in helping to set you up to succeed and thrive in this role:
- Degree-level education or equivalent; CIM/CAM qualification or relevant industry experience.
 - Proven experience in marketing or communications, ideally within pharma, biotech, medical devices, or healthcare.
 - Strong scientific literacy with the ability to quickly understand new therapeutic areas and products.
 - A confident copywriter who is able to produce clear, compelling content with minimal editing.
 - Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
 - Strong communication skills and able to build strong internal and external relationships.
 - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
 
Desirable skills but by no means essential:
- Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats or similar approval systems.
 - Knowledge of FDA regulations or equivalent regulatory frameworks.
 - Experience with FDA submission processes (e.g., 2253 filings).
