Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands

We're Creative Fabrica, a fast-scaling tech start-up from Amsterdam.

This creates a self-sustaining community that lives within the Creative Fabrica ecosystem.

About the platform

We launched in 2016 as a marketplace for fonts with a subscription service. In the last 8 years, we have been through tremendous growth, and we're just getting started!

We have scaled to 50 million+ monthly page views, 8 million+ registrations, over 22 million listed products, and 22000+ active designers.

Our focus is to create a platform for designers that enables them to offer exceptional high-quality content. We make their products searchable in unique ways. This allows our customers to speed up their workflow, allowing them to focus on what they love most: Creating.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Lead Analyst to join our growing data team and help shape the future of Creative Fabrica. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the business: you'll be the go-to partner for our Management team, helping us track what matters most and make smart, data-driven decisions every step of the way.

You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll lead a talented group of analysts and analytics engineers across all functions — bringing their work together into one clear, strategic view of how we're performing and where we’re headed. But this is not just a coordination role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on—diving into data, writing queries, shaping models, and guiding analysis where it matters most.

If you're excited about building things, leading with empathy, and using data to unlock real impact, we’d love to have you on the team.

What you will do:

  • Work directly with the Management team to define, track, and report on key business and financial metrics.
  • Manage and coach a team of analysts and analytics engineers, while also actively contributing to projects yourself.
  • Support alignment across different functions by ensuring shared frameworks, definitions, and reporting standards.
  • Contribute to data modelling, helping build and maintain reliable datasets for use across the company.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis when needed, providing strategic input on business questions and opportunities.
  • Develop and document ways of working that help the analytics team collaborate effectively and scale its impact.
  • Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, ensuring insights are understood and lead to well-informed decisions.
  • Play a central role in shaping how data is used and valued across the company.

What you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in data and analytics leadership roles, with experience managing both analysts and analytics engineers.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to define and track core company and financial metrics and deliver clear business insights
  • Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of modern data stacks (dbt, data warehouses, BI tools).
  • Experience with data modeling and transforming raw data into usable, trusted datasets.
  • Ability to drive alignment and structure in fast-moving environments through frameworks, communication, and process.
  • Comfortable working across teams and data domains, with a particular advantage if experienced in both product and marketing analytics.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present clearly at C-level.
  • Collaborative and empathetic leadership style; able to support and grow others while driving performance.
  • Proactive and structured mindset—able to bring clarity to ambiguity and move work forward independently.

It would be great if you could also bring:

  • Experience in financial analytics or working with finance teams.
  • Familiarity with data infrastructure, pipelines, and experimentation tooling.
  • Hands on experience with Python.

Let us take care of you:

Compensation
We recognize and reward hard work, skill, and ambition. Your compensation will be made up of a base salary plus an equity-based incentive plan.

We would also like to offer you:

  • Lunch: On days you work in the office a warm fresh lunch will be provided for you.
  • 15 ‘focus days’ where you can work remotely.
  • 24 days of paid vacation per year + public holidays.
  • Travel Allowance, if you live more than 10 KM from the office.
  • Company pension plan.
  • CF Library
  • L&D for Tech Division
  • Company events and overseas trips!
