As our new Software & Cloud Advisory Business Development Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, leveraging Crayon’s chosen framework to guide and support their digital transformation journey. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to proactively identify and engage new customers, while also developing existing relationships through tailored software and cloud advisory services.

Other responsibilities:

  • Translate Crayon’s optimization strategy into clear business value for C-level executives, business owners, and decision-makers to unlock transformative opportunities
  • Identify customer pain points and assess technology readiness to co-create customized solutions with regional Solution Sales and Technical Presales teams
  • Lead engaging customer workshops alongside regional Sales and Technical Solution experts to drive technology adoption and alignment
  • Execute targeted strategies to accelerate deal closure and advance high-priority sales opportunities
  • Partner with Solution Sales peers and key vendors (Microsoft, AWS, GCP) for cross-selling opportunities and to stay current on technology updates and joint customer approaches

Your Competencies:

  • 3+ years of consulting experience in software and cloud management
  • 1-2 years of pre-sales experience in an IT/consulting environment is an advantage
  • Proven expertise in cloud cost optimization, supported by strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities
  • Skilled at identifying business risks and opportunities, and articulating the financial impact of Crayon’s solutions on a customer’s bottom line

  • You are a strong communicator and team player, skilled in both verbal and non-verbal communication, with a problem-solving mindset
  • You are a highly motivated and proactive professional, open to challenges and driven by continuous improvement and growth
  • You are adaptable and confident, able to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and influence executive-level decision-making
