As our new Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new business while driving Crayon’s growth in Malaysia. Using a “Land and Expand” strategy, you will generate leads, build strong client relationships, and deliver tailored software and service solutions within the SMC/SMB segment. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams and engage key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to achieve your sales goals.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, targeting and recruiting new SMC/SMB accounts to drive business growth
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across business and IT through strategic conversations
- Managing customer contacts and sales pipeline in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to meet quarterly targets
- Driving up-selling, cross-selling, and project-based sales of Crayon’s services and vendor offerings
- Collaborating closely with Presales and Account teams to create and executive account plans
Your Competencies:
- 5+ years’ experience in IT business with expertise in Multi-Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and solid commercial training in relevant services
- Hands-on experience with lead generation among SMC and SMB
- Knowledge of licensing and cloud solutions, Vendor License Sales Certification is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM (Dynamics 365), with an established network in the SMC and commercial ecosystem

- Results-oriented sales professional with a focus on solutions
- Able to translate technical challenges into business terms and collaborate effectively
