As our new Business Development Manager for India, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence by identifying and cultivating untapped business opportunities and strategic relationships. With your expertise in sales and business operations, you will drive growth initiatives and collaborate with a dynamic team of motivated professionals, all working together to realize our company’s vision. 

Key responsibilities:  

  • Be an evangelist for services across various media that drive business growth 
  • Identify opportunities with customers through regular customer meetings to understand their business needs  
  • Create and execute on account plans while acquiring new customers/partners in dedicated segment, and make Crayon preferred choice of Managed Services partner for enterprise customers 
  • Work across Azure and AWS Managed Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to identify opportunities in RFPs and enterprise contracts, including migration, server, database, security, and network management 
  • Engage in strategic discussions with a solid grasp of service processes (pre-requisites, SLAs, commercials), and the technical-commercial structure of proposals, including delivery and implementation plans 

Your Competencies:  

  • 5+ years of experience in the IT business, including multi-cloud environments, with a solid commercial training background and strong understanding of services, software licensing, cloud computing, and Professional Services 
  • 5+ years in a similar role or in a customer, reseller, or partner-facing position, with domain knowledge and industry experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification 
  • Established network and proven engagement with enterprise and SMB direct customers 
  • Proficient in secure handling of common MS Office applications and CRM databases
