We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development seller to join our team and spearhead our growth with AvePoint solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, a deep understanding of AvePoint's product suite, and a passion for driving pipeline and customer success. This needs to be a highly motivated seller who helps build the top of the funnel with the AvePoint Sellers and drives all upsells with Crayon customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Partnership Planning: develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand Crayon's market presence with AvePoint solutions
- Partnership Management: cultivate and maintain strong relationships with AvePoint and other key stakeholders to drive joint business initiatives
- Lead Generation: help support marketing with voice of customer feedback and needs for top-of-funnel campaign content, and drive follow-up within the sales organization
- Pipeline Development: work with the sales leaders and their teams to drive pipeline and close business for our suite of AvePoint solutions (Cloud Backup, Cloud Migrations, Cloud Governance, Security Insights)
- Performance Tracking: monitor and report on key performance metrics to ensure the achievement of business development goals
Your Competencies:
- Proven experience in Business Development, preferably within the IT or software industry
- 5 years of experience selling SaaS solutions/security/ governance
- Experience with AvePoint solutions will be highly regarded

- You are results-driven and highly motivated, bringing a proactive approach and a strong sales mindset
- You are skilled at engaging and building trusted relationships with CXO stakeholders, leveraging exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to foster collaboration, influence decisions, and drive strategic outcomes
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality results
