As our new Senior Frontend Engineer – Data & AI, you will lead the development of next-generation interactive interfaces. We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, engineering, and emerging technologies. As part of the broader Data and AI Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will collaborate with cross-functional teams that are pioneering scalable, intelligent solutions across the enterprise. Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of high-impact, user-facing tools that empower teams to interact with complex data and models through intuitive, responsive interfaces.

Key responsibilities will include  

  • Design, architect and implement responsive, accessible and high-performance web interfaces for interactive applications, including chat systems, documents viewers, and model-driven tools 
  • Build and maintain scalable component library using modern frontend frameworks and design systems 
  • Drive UI/UX strategy from wireframes to polished production interfaces, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and seamless integration with backend APIs and real-time data pipelines 
  • Collaborate with backend and platform teams to ensure cohesive, end-to-end user experience and scalable delivery of containerized UI applications across environments 
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold best practices in frontend architecture, testing, and deployment 

Your Competencies  

  • Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript 
  • Deep experience with modern frameworks such as React (with Hooks and Context), Next.js, or SvelteKit 
  • Proficient with Git and CI/CD workflows 
  • Experience deploying and maintaining containerized UI applications using Docker or similar technologies 

About You      

  • You possess strong coordination and communication skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams 
  • You have the proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment 
  • You are proactive, structured, and detail-oriented with a bias for action and ownership
