As our new Licensing Sales Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert, ensuring customers receive the best advice and deals on software contracts, agreements, products, and services, positioning Crayon Group as their trusted advisor. This role serves as the internal and external go-to expert on vendors such as Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, IBM and others. You will be expected to possess in-depth knowledge of products in the software space which will help build lasting, trusted relationships that attract and retain customers.
Key responsibilities will include
- Supporting the acquisition of New Customers as a subject matter expert
- Contributing to the creation of customer plans and strategies that relates to your focus area: identifying customer needs, proposing the agreement, price, scheme, support negotiation and what activity should lead to
- Providing customer and partners service, including inbound and outbound phone calls, email, and chat
- Supporting the relationship between the customer and Microsoft, translating and negotiating options, prices, incentive programs possibilities and options
- Vendor-negotiation support, supporting sales resources and customers/partners in getting the right agreement and pricing, both internal and external
Your Competencies
- Ideally 5+ years of software licensing & cloud-based solutions sales experience
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft licensing and any relevant certification is an added advantage
- Solid business acumen combined with the ability to translate the licensing rules into business value
- Experience engaging with stakeholders from government or education is an advantage
