DEPARTMENT/ TEAM PURPOSE:
Copper has quickly established itself as the go-to provider of safeguarding and trading infrastructure in digital assets by establishing a best-in-class custody platform, along with clearing/settlement mechanisms for reducing counterparty risk.

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Solutions Group Director at Copper plays a pivotal role within the Commercial department, complementing the Sales team to maximize cross-sale opportunities. This strategic position is instrumental in bridging Copper’s product capabilities with client needs, ensuring the delivery of tailored, high-value solutions while driving financing-related revenue streams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Expertise & Client Strategy
- Maintain a deep understanding of Copper’s product suite, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Leverage detailed knowledge of traditional market infrastructure, the digital asset ecosystem, or both to support client strategy development.
- Partner with clients to structure product solutions that align with their strategic goals.
Copper Financing Desk Management
- Oversee all aspects of the Copper Financing Desk, including agency lending operations and derivatives collateral management.
- Ensure efficient processes and strategies to optimise financing desk performance and client satisfaction.
Market Insights & Visibility
- Provide actionable market insights and colour to clients, enhancing Copper’s reputation and visibility within the industry.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive financing revenue growth.
Treasury Collaboration
- Work closely with Copper’s Treasury team to optimise corporate treasury investments, ensuring maximum returns while maintaining robust risk management.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience:
- Extensive background in financial services, with expertise in either traditional markets infrastructure or the digital asset ecosystem (preferably both).
- Proven ability to work in a revenue-generating role with experience in cross-selling and structured solutions.
- Technical Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of agency lending, derivatives, and collateral management.
- Familiarity with corporate treasury functions and investment optimisation.
- Client Engagement:
- Exceptional ability to understand client strategies and develop bespoke solutions.
- Strong relationship management skills to foster trust and collaboration.
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and cross-functional projects effectively.
- Languages
- Fluent English and Mandarin speaker
