Copper is expanding its Technology Operations function to accommodate the growth the business is currently undergoing. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, working at the heart of transformation in financial services.
With this role there is an opportunity to create some good foundations and provide input to shape the day-to-day operational tasks for the role.

Key responsibilities
As an Apprentice Support Technician, you will be a key part of Technology Infrastructure Delivery team, responding to requests and providing general assistance within the office for anything IT related.
Your experience, skills and knowledge
- Technical Support: Assist in setting up systems, providing support, and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Communication: Work both independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues, customers, and clients.
- Security: Operate securely across all platforms, adhering to organisational guidelines and legislation.
- Problem Solving: Apply structured techniques to troubleshoot and resolve both common and non-routine problems.
- Performance Optimisation: Configure hardware and software to meet business requirements and optimise performance.
- Workflow Management: Prioritise tasks and manage workflow efficiently, even under pressure.

- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of networking, operating systems, cloud services, and IT security.

About the apprentice programme
- 24.000 GBP gross per year
