About the Role
As a Compliance Operations Coordinator at Convera, based in the Pune office, you will be trained to investigate and analyze corporate customers to ensure they meet all applicable regulatory requirements, legislation, and internal policies.
You will gather and review the required customer information and assess whether the organization should continue, pursue, or terminate a business relationship with the customer.
The role offers an opportunity to work in a professional, multicultural, and global environment while developing expertise in KYC, AML, and Customer Due Diligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all new corporate customers meet Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, applicable legislation, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.
- Review and update customer account profiles and ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
- Communicate efficiently with internal and external stakeholders to gather required KYC information and documentation.
- Maintain and update internal procedural documentation.
- Support colleagues and management with:
- Training new employees
- Audit requests
- Projects
- Documentation
- Ad-hoc operational activities
- Perform KYC and compliance activities primarily for US and Canada customers.
Candidate Requirements
You should apply if you have:
- Junior education degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in KYC, Customer Due Diligence, or Global Due Diligence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Client-centric mindset.
- Ability to take initiative and work towards achieving defined targets.
- Strong decision-making and influencing skills.
- Flexible working approach.
