Senior Manager, Regional Sales (HK)
Accountable to exceed local revenue targets and ensure expenses are controlled within budget. Accountable for the overall local operation, including sales, customer management and operations. Lead the local Trade & Services (Corporate Sales) team by coaching, leading by example, motivating and inspiring them to drive results.
Be an active participant in the Regional leadership team contributing to the strategic and operational goals of the business. Identify, source and develop new business opportunities maximising new and existing profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead & manage the HK T&S Sales and Account Management teams (4 Direct Reports) with the aim to deliver business results against targets
- Build the team - Recruit, develop, motivate and coach the team members
- Manage team member’s performance by enforcing defined KPIs
- Define & Implement Country GTM plan as part of the overall regional strategy
- Live a business planning culture – ensure team members do real time forecasting and understand and promote the value of this for their progression of the business
- Actively work with Marketing on developing the Convera prospect & clients networks in HK – host events, maintain active relationships to associations, business networks etc.
- Be an active ambassador for Convera in the Hong Kong business community
- Engage with Operations, Credit/Risk, Finance, HR, Compliance, Product/Pre-Sales teams to ensure seamless support for clients and superior delivery of services
- Lead occasionally projects outside the day-to-day-responsibilities
- Take an active role in the APAC Leadership team
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in a Sales or client relationship role, preferably in a B-2-B solution environment, minimum 3 years leadership experience
- MUST HAVE - Deep understanding of FX markets and products
- Proven Sales/CRM track record in the financial services industry
- Proven ability to influence and inspire others to achieve goals.
- Exemplary communication skills – verbal and written.
- High degree of self-motivation, combined with effective organizational and time management skills.
- Superior customer service skills with a focus on building customer loyalty.
- You MUST be a Hong Kong Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for this role
