Convera is on an exciting journey transforming the customer experience in Financial Services. As part of this transformation, Salesforce is a key platform in building our new Business Enablement Platform. We’re looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our Product & Technology (P&T) team and help us build innovative solutions that support our global business functions. In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to learn, grow, and contribute to the development and maintenance of Salesforce applications. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about technology and eager to build a strong foundation in Salesforce development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and customization of Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
- Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues within the Salesforce platform.
- Support testing and deployment activities, including sandbox management and change set deployments.
- Stay current with Salesforce updates and features, and participate in training and learning opportunities.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Salesforce through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming and web technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I.
- Exposure to Salesforce tools and technologies like Apex, Lightning Web Components, or Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with version control tools like Git is a plus.
- Interest in working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
