
Enterprise Systems Analyst

In this ‘Techno/Functional’ role you will act as a liaison between our business partners and IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet our organizational needs. There will be a need for you to translate high-level and complex business requirements into functional specifications for specific applications, as well as manage changes to those requirements/specifications and educate the IT organization on the direction of the business. You will also have the opportunity to gather information on (and document) work processes and information flows, evaluate current-state processes, and identify areas for improvement within the business support and implementation processes. Possessing an understanding of technological trends and how they can be used to enhance Convera’s competitive edge is also important in this role.
You will be responsible for:
• Identify, develop, and implement solutions for various business initiatives that utilize various software applications such as Oracle FUSION (ERP, EPM, FDI), Wall Street Suite, FIS Data Integrity Manager (former IntelliMatch), and the downstream apps they connect with.
• Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
• Gather detailed business requirements and perform gap analyses.
• Prepare functional specification documents for integrations with external systems as well as system enhancements.
• Coordinate efforts for multiple projects at once with development, QA, UAT, infrastructure, finance, and operational teams.
• Assist and support end-user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Act as subject matter expert and provide best practices recommendations.
• Assist with identifying and documenting data and integration issues and support integration work streams.
• Provide updates on project status, issues, risks, escalations, and change requests to leadership.
• AdHoc IT related requests outside of the above when time permits.
You should apply if you have:
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Technology, Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 6 years of functional/technical experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, Support Analyst, or Systems Analyst.
• Working experience with Financial, Reconciliation, or Treasury systems, such as Oracle Cloud ERP Finance, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FIS Data Integrity Manager, or similar.
• Experience as a 'senior' resource gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, and testing.
• Experience with designing and documenting inbound and outbound integrations with external applications (process flow, attribute mapping, etc.).
• Ability to extract and analyze transactional data using SQL to identify issue patterns.
• Individual must be committed to accuracy, attention to detail, and customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, time management/organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Nice to have:
• Oracle FUSION implementation experience.
• Exposure to Oracle EPM and any of the related Suite of products that go with it (WFP, EBPCS, EDMCS, EPCMCS, FCCS, etc.).
• Report building or BI tool knowledge/experience.
• Oracle Localization/Tax knowledge.
• Oracle Cloud certifications.
• Experience with Postman, Swagger UI.
