
Financial Risk Senior Analyst
Are you passionate about understanding and managing financial risks in a dynamic global environment? Convera is looking for a Financial Risk Senior Analyst to join our Financial and Regulatory Risk team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in financial risk management who is eager to grow their career in a supportive and fast-paced setting.
You will be responsible for:
• Risk Assessment Support: Assist in evaluating financial risks such as liquidity, market, and credit risk using both qualitative and basic quantitative methods.
• Reporting and Documentation: Help maintain financial risk registers and prepare regular risk reports for internal stakeholders and regulators.
• Capital Risk Analysis: Contribute to capital adequacy assessments and support the preparation of internal risk reports (e.g., ICARA).
• Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with global risk and compliance teams to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide risk frameworks.
• Risk Mitigation: Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and controls.
• Project Involvement: Participate in risk-related projects and initiatives that enhance our risk culture and operational resilience.
You should apply if you have:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in a risk, investment, or Finance-related role.
• A good understanding of financial risk concepts (e.g., market, credit, liquidity risk).
• Knowledge of derivatives and their role in financial risk management is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis and risk modeling.
• Interest in learning risk management tools and frameworks; experience with Excel, R Statistics, VBA or other data tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn from senior team members.
• Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) are a plus but not required.
