Position Overview
To support the rapid expansion of our IP portfolio and ensure high-quality, strategically aligned patents, we are hiring a Patent Manager (Curator for Projects/Scenarios). This role is pivotal in sourcing, curating, and refining patentable inventions from across our AI-driven projects. You will be responsible for sourcing inventions, managing invention disclosures, preparing clear invention concepts for external patent counsel, and ensuring successful, timely filings. You will also play a key role in supporting strategic partnerships, including those with leading universities.

Key Responsibilities
· Proactively identify novel and valuable inventions across projects where you are the responsible curator.
· Regularly engage with engineering, research, and product teams to uncover and evaluate patentable innovation.
· Facilitate patent brainstorming
· Serve as the primary point of contact for patent-related inquiries
· Prepare concise and technically clear invention concepts and documentation for external patent attorneys and agents, in collaboration with inventors.
· Map patents to strategic priority scenarios as defined by management and the business roadmap.
- Patent Drafting and Filing::
· Support the drafting process in cooperation with patent agents (review drafts from patent agents, address questions during the drafting process, clarify the concept).
· Occasionally perform full drafting for special projects.
· Support the prosecution process (collaborate with the team to manage office actions and correspondence related to pending applications).
- Portfolio Quality Management:
· Conduct patent mapping and analysis.
· Review and prioritize inventions to ensure a stronger, more valuable patent portfolio.
· Maintain high-quality records and manage workflows for multiple concurrent projects.
· Work with cross-functional project leaders and external partners to foster joint inventions and filings.
· Support internal education and awareness about IP processes and value.
· Monitor patent landscape to identify trends, threats, and opportunities for new filings.
· Assist in developing and refining patenting processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Experience:
· Minimum 1 year of experience drafting or writing patent applications, preferably in the IT/AI sector.
Skills:
· Understanding of patent processes and invention disclosure management.
· Understanding of AI technologies
· Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise invention statements.
· Experience working with patent attorneys/agents
· Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
· Capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (At least B1 level).
· Written and verbal Russian proficiency will be a strong advantage.
· Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams, external representatives, inventors, and various stakeholders.
· Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle inquiries and provide support professionally.
