Senior Accountant

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regular booking of Accounts Payables (vendor invoices), into the respective sub-ledgers
- Maintenance of vendor master-file in ERP (Acumatica)
- Weekly preparation of payment runs in e-banking
- Booking of General Leder entries
- Booking of monthly payroll-journal provided by external payroll provider
- Calculating / booking the accruals
- Regular intercompany reconciliations
- Monthly closing of books
- Assisting in preparation of monthly management reporting
- Other accounting / bookkeeping ad-hoc tasks when required
- Potentially – to overview the work of the external accountants
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Proven experience in Financial Accounting (preferably in AP block)
- Fluent in English, German will be an advantage
- Experience in using and learning new ERP-systems; we use “Acumatica” (which you most likely do not know yet)
- Willing and eager to work in a dynamic international team
- Willing and capable of working in a start-up environment, where not everything is always 100% pre-defined, but flexibility and innovation is required
- Positive “can-do” attitude
