Duties and Responsibilities:
Core procurement:
- Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order to delivery and payment
- Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers across all indirect categories
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, SLAs, and renewals, and lead contract negotiations to close
- Own vendor relationship management, including performance reviews, escalations, and risk monitoring
- Run competitive tenders and RFPs, build comparison models, and make sourcing recommendations
- Track and control spend against budget, identify savings, and report on procurement KPIs
- Maintain the contract repository, renewal calendar, and supplier master data
- Ensure compliance with internal policy, data protection requirements, and licensing terms
- Improve procurement processes, tooling, and approval workflows
Project leadership:
- Lead one-time and cross-functional procurement projects end to end
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal teams to deliver on time and on budget
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
- Measure results against the business case and report outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience across multiple indirect categories
- Experience in international procurement, sourcing and managing suppliers across multiple countries and regions
- Higher education in economics, business, or a related field
- Solid working knowledge of the IT category, covering all types of hardware, software licensing models, SaaS subscriptions, cloud services, and colocation and server housing
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional projects
- Strong commercial and contract literacy, comfortable shaping terms alongside Legal
- Analytical skills for spend analysis, cost modelling, total cost of ownership, and ROI assessment
- Confident stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams and all seniority levels
- Familiarity with ERP systems and strong spreadsheet skills
- Fluent English, written and verbal (additional languages are an advantage)
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to run many parallel suppliers and projects at once
