About The Role :

We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Team Lead to lead a team building scalable, production-grade systems at the intersection of backend engineering, Agentic AI, and cybersecurity.

As an AI-native company, AI is at the core of what we build. In this role, you’ll lead a team responsible for developing and delivering AI-powered capabilities that help security teams investigate and respond to complex threats.

You’ll combine strong backend & frontend engineering and system design expertise with a practical understanding of modern AI technologies, working closely with other engineering teams to build reliable, scalable solutions.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll stay close to the code, drive technical decisions within your team, mentor engineers, and contribute directly to the development of our AI-native platform.

 

What You’ll Do :

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, supporting their technical growth and day-to-day development.
• Drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend services and AI-powered product capabilities.
• Stay hands-on with Python development, system architecture, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
• Take ownership of your team's technical decisions, engineering quality, and delivery.
• Build and improve systems that support AI agent workflows, integrations, and security investigation capabilities.
• Design and develop distributed, cloud-native services with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with other engineering teams, Product, and Security to deliver solutions to real customer challenges.
• Translate product and technical requirements into clear engineering plans and deliverables.
• Improve engineering practices, testing, observability, and production readiness across the team.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical initiatives across the engineering organization

 

What You'll Need :

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a strong background in backend development.
• 2+ years of experience managing and leading a software engineering team, including people management, mentoring, technical guidance, and ownership of team deliverables.
• Strong hands-on experience building scalable backend systems and distributed architectures.
• Experience designing and developing production-grade systems.
• Experience building or integrating AI/ML capabilities into production systems.
• Experience with LLMs, GenAI technologies, or modern AI frameworks.
• Strong programming skills, Python preferred.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, system design, and engineering best practices.
• Experience working with production environments, including performance, reliability, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Professional fluency in English and Hebrew.

 

Nice to have :

• Background in cybersecurity, SOC, threat detection, incident response, or security investigation workflows.
• Experience working in early-stage startups or high-growth product companies.
• Experience leading engineering teams developing AI-powered products.
