The company offers a comprehensive online platform that enables employers, brokers, providers, and members to manage and pay healthcare claims efficiently and securely.

Project Description

The project aims to centralize and streamline data across the organization by collecting information from multiple internal repositories, ensuring data integrity, security, and consistency, and delivering high-quality data to providers with minimal delay. We are looking for a Data Engineer experienced with the Microsoft Azure data platform to work on a large-scale enterprise data warehouse project. The role focuses primarily on data engineering with additional responsibilities in reporting and Azure platform operations.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric;
  • Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes for ingesting and transforming data;
  • Work with Azure SQL and Fabric Warehouse to build scalable data models;
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and transformations;
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across the data platform;
  • Integrate data from various internal and external systems;
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and data workflows;
  • Participate in data platform architecture improvements;
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards;
  • Support business teams with data analysis and reporting needs;
  • Ensure reliable and performant data sources for reporting;
  • Assist in defining metrics, KPIs, and reporting datasets;
  • Work with Azure Portal to manage data platform resources;
  • Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps;
  • Assist with deployment pipelines and environment configuration;
  • Monitor platform health and troubleshoot data platform issues;

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer;
  • Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and building ETL/ELT pipelines;
  • Experience with Azure SQL / SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries;
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Pipelines, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Python Notebooks;
  • Experience with Python for data transformation, automation, and notebook-based development;
  • Understanding of data warehouse architectures and data modeling;
  • Experience with Power BI for building and maintaining analytical reports;
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes;
  • Basic experience working with Azure Portal and cloud resources;
  • Understanding of data integration and transformation processes;
  • Ability to analyze data flows and optimize data pipelines;
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team;
  • English level: B1 (Intermediate) or higher;
