Project Description
The project focuses on leveraging OpenTofu or similar infrastructure-as-code (IaC) technologies to automate and streamline infrastructure management processes, eliminating manual interventions and hard-coded configurations. The goal is to establish a fully automated, parameterized, and dependency-free infrastructure environment that adheres to DevOps best practices, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across AWS environments.

What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain AWS CloudFormation templates for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Create and manage AWS CodeStar project stacks and CI/CD automation using CodePipeline
- Implement AWS cost optimization strategies and Well-Architected best practices
- Design and improve HA (High Availability) and DR (Disaster Recovery) solutions to enhance RTO/RPO
- Manage and improve AWS operational excellence across multiple environments
- Monitor, document, and support infrastructure and middleware components
- Build and maintain highly available, reliable, and scalable products across platforms
- Set up monitoring and alerting systems to track uptime, cost, and performance
- Collaborate with multiple teams to understand and support complex architectures
- Maintain a proactive focus on system uptime and operational improvements
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience implementing and maintaining enterprise AWS Cloud environments
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect Associate, or Developer Associate certification
- Proven experience in multi-tenant, distributed systems at scale
- Strong AWS Cloud architecture background with CloudFormation and containerized deployments
- Experience implementing CI/CD with AWS CodePipeline
- Proficiency in AWS services including ECS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift, Glue, Athena, CloudFront, Route 53, and EventBridge
- Familiarity with observability tools such as AppDynamics, SumoLogic, DataDog, or CloudWatch
- Solid understanding of application and infrastructure security principles
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (B2+ level or higher)
- Availability until noon Eastern Time (11 AM CST)
