Cloud Data Operations Engineer (Business Financing)

Project Description
We're looking for a candidate with have solid troubleshooting skills, critical thinking skills, project management skills, relational and cloud database management skills (MySQL, MSSQL, Snowflake), scripting/coding skills (Python, Linux Shell), and experience with Public Cloud (AWS). The candidate should be ready to work during US CST hours.

What You'll Do
- Manage relational databases as well as cloud data warehouses;
- Deploy and maintain data integration and data analytics processes, including data pipelines, data replication, ETL/ELT, etc.;
- Adhere to change management and other established processes and procedures;
- Refine, automate, and advocate for automation, standardized processes, issue tracking, and process improvement;
- Create and maintain documentation as well as operational knowledge base;
- Share knowledge with peers and other cross-functional teams;
- Enforce strict data security protocols by managing user access controls, data encryption, etc. to mitigate security risks;
- Monitor data systems performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to maximize efficiency;
- Respond to and troubleshoot incidents;
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the Data Operations or Data Engineering field;
- Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server);
- Experience with Data Warehouse technologies (Snowflake);
- Proficiency with scripting languages, including Python, BASH, etc. for automation of tasks;
- Advanced working knowledge of SQL;
- Experience with cloud-native (CloudWatch) as well as third-party monitoring solutions like Data Dog, etc.;
- Experience working with and maintaining data backup and recovery strategies;
- Experience working with and maintaining high-availability and disaster recovery strategies;
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools and techniques, including complex queries as well as procedure and indexing strategies;
- Experience working within an Agile environment;
- Experience managing Linux and Windows servers;
- Experience with Data Masking Technologies such as Delphix, Data Secure, etc.;
- Ability to conduct root cause analyses;
- Ability to prioritize, organize and plan work independently;
- English level, starting from Upper-Intermediate;
