Project Description

The project is focused on developing bi-directional, real-time POS integrations. These integrations are critical to enabling seamless data exchange between POS systems and backend services, ensuring that transactions, menus, and operational data are synced effectively. This role requires strong data engineering experience, an interest in systems integration, and a hands-on approach to solving complex problems.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain real-time data integrations with external POS systems
• Develop, optimize, and maintain database solutions using SQL and Snowflake
• Implement data transformation processes for both structured and semi-structured data
• Tune SQL queries and database performance for large-scale data sets
• Contribute to the development of RESTful web services and integration endpoints
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and integration workflows
• Read and understand existing code written in C# as part of system integrations
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful deployment
• Write and execute manual and automated tests to ensure data integrity
• Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to new challenges

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or software development
• Experience with SQL-like databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL); Snowflake is a plus
• Proficiency in database query tuning
• Solid understanding of common data structures and algorithms
• Background in transforming and managing structured/semi-structured data
• Experience with RESTful APIs; SOAP knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience building automation with proper monitoring and alerting
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub for version control
• Ability to read and understand C# code
• English level: B1+ (spoken and written)
