Project Description

The project focuses on leveraging AWS CloudFormation to automate and streamline infrastructure management, eliminating manual processes and ensuring a fully parameterized, scalable, and secure environment. The goal is to implement DevOps best practices by developing robust infrastructure-as-code solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and security policies, while also optimizing AWS services for long-term scalability and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS CloudFormation templates for automated infrastructure provisioning;
• Implement parameterized configurations to enhance modularity and reusability;
• Manage and optimize AWS resources such as S3, Lambda, RDS, and others;
• Eliminate dependencies in infrastructure configurations and establish scalable patterns;
• Develop state management strategies to ensure consistency across environments;
• Establish best practices for CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code processes;
• Implement security, compliance, and monitoring mechanisms across AWS infrastructure;
• Advocate for and drive standardized coding, testing, and deployment practices across teams;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and deliver automated solutions;
• Mentor junior engineers in AWS services, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps best practices;
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability;
• Debug complex infrastructure issues and implement long-term solutions;

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related field;
• Expert-level proficiency in AWS CloudFormation, including advanced parameterization techniques;
• Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, EC2, and API Gateway;
• Proven experience automating processes, streamlining workflows, and removing infrastructure dependencies;
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS CodePipeline;
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for scripting and automation;
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk;
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (B1+ or higher);

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration;
