Project Description
The project focuses on managing and optimizing a comprehensive platform that supports restaurant operations. It involves maintaining Oracle database environments, deploying Goldengate microservices, and collaborating with development teams to optimize performance.

What You'll Do
- Deploy Goldengate 21c Microservices to replicate data between Oracle and Snowflake databases;
- Maintain Oracle 19c database clusters and DR sites using Oracle Data Guard physical standby databases;
- Automate deployment and maintenance tasks to streamline operations;
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and code performance;
- Participate in on-call rotation (24x7xWeek) and handle critical database issues;
- Participate in monthly maintenance windows on the 3rd Sunday of each month (3:30 AM-7:30 AM ET);
- Write and maintain checklists and runbooks to ensure operational consistency;
- Use and administer OEM for monitoring and performance analysis;
- Communicate daily in English with team members to ensure smooth operations;
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in databases;
- 3+ years of experience in database administration;
- Experience deploying and administering Oracle 12c/19c multi-node RAC databases in on-premise environments;
- Experience deploying and maintaining Oracle Data Guard physical standby databases;
- Expertise in performance tuning for high-transactional OLTP databases;
- Strong experience with PL/SQL programming and automating routine tasks;
- Proficiency in using and administering OEM;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
- Intermediate English proficiency;
- Availability for weekly on-call rotations (24x7xWeek);
- Availability for monthly maintenance window activities on the 3rd Sunday of the month (3:30 AM-7:30 AM ET);
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of RedHat Linux;
- Basic understanding of SAN and storage arrays;
- Basic understanding of computer networks;
- Experience in bash or Python programming;
- Experience in ATEX administration and programming;
