Job Summary:  

The Principal Client Manager will lead the sales process for multiple mid-market and enterprise deals, focusing on clients within the Financial Services and Insurance sectors. 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Highly disciplined in business-management, adaptable to a culture of accountability, builds and maintains a strong and active business network 
  • Develops multi-level account plans that includes accurate data and insights to enable accurate account forecasting and deal closure tracking 
  • Selling to senior business and technical decision makers. Gains knowledge of the client’s strategic business plans, priorities and drivers and positively articulates the value of Coeo solutions within that context 
  • Trusted advisor and influencer in shaping client decisions to buy our products and services 
  • You will own the commercial and technical decision to close, through tailoring our message, bringing ideas to clients, engaging with them, challenging them and guiding them in their decision-making process 
  • Work with our Enterprise Architects to define a solution to meet the client’s pains focusing on the business value and commercial benefits of the solution 
  • Engage with the Microsoft UK account teams to drive and deliver co-sell campaigns and activities 
  • Lead presentations to explain and prove to our clients and partners our capabilities in Microsoft's Data & AI solutions and position our products and services. This will differentiate us and demonstrate to them how we can make their businesses more successful 
  • Delivers business wins exceeding monthly sales targets 
  • Maintain data within the CRM tool. Monitor pipeline data and develop approach to reduce sales cycle time and increase opportunity value 
  • Provides mentoring and knowledge-sharing across the sales team, supporting the development of junior colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment to Coeo’s core values in every engagement 

Qualifications: 

  • An entrepreneurial spirit to grow the industry using your own strategy & execution plan 
  • Experience selling Cloud, Data & AI Consultancy and Managed Services using solution or challenger sales 
  • Able to orchestrate and lead complex deal negotiations 
  • Disciplined in sales planning, qualification and strategic account management 
  • Able to coordinate virtual teams including technical pre-sales, delivery consultants and project managers 
  • Can work in a growing business and understand the context in which you are operating and be prepared to roll your sleeves up and work with the wider business development and delivery teams to enable joint success 
  • Able to articulate the value of Consulting and Managed Services combined to deliver a successful customer experience 
  • You can demonstrate a track record of having created and managed a pipeline which has delivered sales results of at least £2m in order value over a fiscal year 
  • Execute with energy and enthusiasm
