About the Role

This role will lead and oversee the successful implementation of Workday in conjunction with our Customers ensuring liaison between Customer stakeholders and external implementation partners.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the project plan, timelines, and deliverables, aligning with business requirements and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of project progress.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, IT, Finance) and external Workday consultants, facilitating clear, ongoing communication to align expectations, resolve issues, and ensure successful user adoption.
  • To develop and maintain the project plan ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets 
  • To develop and monitor the project budget 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop and implement change management strategies that support effective adoption and understanding of Workday features, functions, and enhancements among end users.
  • To establish and manage project governance 
  • To establish and maintain relationships with client, partner & third-party stakeholders 
  • Identify, track, and address project risks and roadblocks proactively, ensuring project goals are met within budget and time constraints.
  • Oversee the testing phase, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the Workday solution meets functional and technical requirements before deployment.
  • To ensure benefits to CloudRock are met including achieving requisite gross profitability, team development, and driving positive client relationships and reputation
  • Any other duties which may reasonably be assigned from time to time

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in successfully defining, managing and delivering multiple full life cycle complex/global projects in the HR/Payroll/ Finance Transformation space.
  • Experience managing delivery/ optimisation projects in ERP technologies such as Workday, Oracle, SAP
  • Project management qualification such as Prince II or demonstrable experience in comparable company methodology
  • Fluent English (written/ spoken)

Necessary Skills/Competencies

  • Strong organizational abilities to create and maintain project timelines, allocate resources, and set milestones.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to convey information clearly to stakeholders, team members, and clients.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in financial planning to monitor budgets, control costs, and adjust resources as needed.
  • Understanding of the specific tools or software involved (e.g., Workday for an HRIS implementation).
  • Ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to address unforeseen issues and adjust to project needs.
  • Ability to maintain high standards and attention to detail to ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
  • Knowledge of change management principles to support team and stakeholder adjustments to new processes or systems.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
