You will be collaborating, interacting, innovating, and creating solutions across different projects. In this role, you will use your naval architecture and engineering background to understand the customer’s challenges, needs, and requirements and help translate them into effective digital solutions. You will contribute to customizing and supporting the implementation of Teamcenter to meet each customer’s unique needs, while staying up-to-date with the latest developments in PLM. 

 

Your role will include: 

  • Gaining a strong understanding of customer challenges, needs, and requirements. 
  • Leading and supporting Teamcenter configuration activities, ensuring that the system is aligned with each customer’s engineering processes, business processes, and workflows. 
  • Working as a consultant on a broad range of projects across the maritime, oil and gas, green energy, manufacturing, and retail sectors. 
  • Applying your understanding of naval architecture and engineering processes to help customers improve their product development and digital workflows. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate, create solutions, and produce technical documentation, while proactively supporting colleagues. 
  • Partnering with other PLM Engineers and Project Managers to efficiently solve problems using tools such as Teamcenter and NX. 
  • Customizing, supporting, and implementing software upgrades tailored to each customer’s specific needs, while staying up to date with the latest developments in PLM. 
  • Participating in Teamcenter implementation projects, from requirement gathering and system setup to testing and deployment. 
  • Developing your PLM and consulting expertise through hands-on project experience, training, and collaboration with experienced colleagues. 

 

What you bring to the table: 

  • A degree in Naval Architecture, Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, or a closely related engineering field is a big plus. 
  • A strong interest in engineering processes, digitalization, PLM, and product lifecycle management. 
  • An affinity with engineering software and digital technologies; experience with CAD or PLM systems such as NX or Teamcenter is a plus 
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, XML, .NET, JSON, or JavaScript is a plus. 
  • A curious and analytical mindset, with the ability and motivation to learn new technologies and concepts quickly. 
  • Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken, is required.
  • Simple and effective communication skills, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and developing yourself. 

This employment may require security clearance.
